awarding good business acumen in gwynedd
The cream of Gwynedd business came together for the inaugural Gwynedd Business Awards' Gala Dinner organised by Cambrensis and Atom at the Celtic Royal Hotel, Caernarfon on Thursday 25 May 2006.
The awards ceremony, which attracted over 150 guests, proved a prestigious and fitting end to a series of events held across the county focusing on business, training and entrepreneurship, organised by Gwynedd Council as part of Gwynedd Business Week.
Councillor Dafydd Iwan, Senior Portfolio Leader for Development, Gwynedd Council, said:
'The response to the Gwynedd Business Award and to the inaugural Gwynedd Business Awards has been incredible. It was very encouraging to see so many partners working together to showcase the rich variety of businesses enjoying success locally here in Gwynedd.
Gwynedd is an excellent place to live and succeed, and the Business Week has been an exceptional opportunity to celebrate the best examples of success among the county's businesses, schools and organisations.
We're confident of our ability to build on this success, and that both the week and the Gala Awards will become an important date in the business calendar for the future, as well as a means of encouraging more people in Gwynedd to venture into busines
