Cambrensis on the run

Gwenan and Lleucu joined thousands of women across Wales recently to raise money and awareness for Cancer Research UK by completing the 5km Race For Life.

Both crossed the finishing line at opposite ends of the country with Gwenan participating in the run along the Menai Strait, Caernarfon in May and Lleucu in Bute Park, Cardiff in July.

Lleucu said:

‘I really enjoyed the Race for Life. It’s all about women coming together, having fun and raising money to beat cancer whilst also keeping fit at the same time!’

Gwenan said

‘Running for such a good cause gives you that extra bit of determination to keep on going when the finishing line looks so far away. The Race for Life also gives me a chance to meet up with the girls for a fun occasion and a great day out.’
