Cambrensis in white water rafting drama!

Forget the Colorado rapids; Wales has got it going on if you're looking for white water wonders!

It's been a busy summer of events and something to look forward to was called for! Relaxing we said, but white water rafting's what we got! Rhodri, Gwen, Lleucu, Osian and Gwenan donned their wetsuits and helmets at the National Whitewater Rafting Centre in Tryweryn, near Bala and made a real splash as they fought the fierce rapids!

Chairman of Cambrensis, Rhodri Ellis Owen said:

'With two offices, one in Cardiff and one in Caernarfon, we thought it would be a great idea to bring everyone together for a real outdoor activity day. We all had a great time and surprisingly… we all survived the rapids!! We all enjoyed it so much, we're now considering entering for the 2008 Olympics… once Osian works out his left from his right.'
