After graduating in Welsh from the University of Wales Aberystwyth in 2001, Gwenan stayed on to complete a postgraduate course in Entrepreneurship before travelling around the world for a year. She then settled to live and work in the USA for a year and a half, spending time in New York and Cincinnati, Ohio.
After returning home to Pen Llŷn in 2004, she worked as Dwyfor Field Officer for Gwynedd Welsh Initiative before becoming their Private Sector Officer in 2006.
Since October 2006, Gwenan works on a number of high-profile public relations accounts from Cambrensis' Caernarfon office. Her clients include S4C, Cadw, the Welsh Books Council, the Welsh Assembly Government and Gwynedd Council.
