What's your favourite drink?
I'm partial to a swift Drambuie & Gin — it kept the Queen Mother going for 101 years so it can't be bad.

How would you describe yourself?
I'm easy going, brief and to the point, quick—witted and ambitious yet curiously cautious and the lucky owner of a chocolate box thatched welsh cottage.

Have you ever been on TV?
I'm a regular contributor to the Wedi 3 (After 3) programme on S4C...I'll talk about almost anything if asked!

What's your favourite food?
Crème Brulee is gorgeous. You don't get a better smell than Parisian Patisserie Shops. I love Paris or anywhere else in France come to think of it.

Do you have any pets?
I've got a psycho Parson's Terrier who goes by the name of Milly. Walking the dog in the morning and looking out to sea is good for the soul.

What are your favourite films?
Dame Maggie Smith and Terry Thomas are brilliant. I could watch La Cage aux folles (the original 1978 French version only) and The English Patient over and over again. Not forgetting Porc Pei — had to get that one in!

What are you currently listening to?
I've recently re—discovered Yma Sumac — the songbird of the Andes....if you get a chance seek her old recordings out..mad...Lovin' Tiga at the moment and will always fall for the French disco classic Voyage Voyage by Desireless. Another big fave is Bonnie and Clyde by Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot. I tend to switch between Terry and Vibe 101 in the car on the way to work and try to go to sleep laughing out loud to Chris Needs on Radio Wales.

What are you currently reading?
Reading sends me to sleep, but I leaf through the weird and wonderful Fortean Times and men's glossies for my TV review slot. The Western Mail and ananova.com tell me what I need to know.

What do I hate most?
Moaners and customer relations department of large companies really get to me.

What would be your dream job?
My dream job would be the leader of a crypto—zoological expedition in search of the living dinosaurs of the Congo. Seen Nessie myself so I know I'm on the right track!
