Cambrensis' TV and radio production wing was set up by Arwel Ellis Owen following a thirty year career at the BBC. We produce high quality television and radio programmes for S4C, BBC Radio Wales and Radio Cymru.
One of our greatest triumphs as a company was winning a Welsh BAFTA and Audience Award at the Würzburg Film Festival for the inimitable Porc Pei (Pork Pie). The success of the original film resulted in six series of Porc Peis Bach (Little Porkies) on S4C, which also won a Welsh BAFTA for Best Costume and led to a sell—out theatre production at the National Eisteddfod in 2005.
Arwel's background in news and current affairs, as well as a passion for history, mean that Cambrensis also specialize in factual documentaries on subjects ranging from religion to revolutions.
